Quick Comment About Honest Earth All Natural Creamy Mashed Potatoes

My friends at Addicted To Costco have sung the praise of these fine instant mashed potatoes. I have to say, they are a great product.

My lovely wife made a brisket in the slow cooker the other day and I suggested that we have some of these potatoes with it.  She liked the idea and in a few minutes these potatoes were ready.

Aside from being darn good for instant mashed potatoes, they come in packages of eight servings each, instead of just one big box that you have to worry about measuring out and controlling the mess.

As I said these are a great product and I highly recommend them.

  1. I strongly agree with Mike! These are high quality potatoes; and easy to make. They don't splash in the cooking and there is a small enough batch that my hubby and I enjoy them for at least 2 meals, or my grands can come and have a nice meal with us. The pouches are surprisingly small, but, plenty of food!

  2. Totally agree with above positive comments; but I just left Costco disappointed because they couldn't get them in.

  3. Please Costco "Bring these Potatoes Back"!!

  4. I too love these potatoes and have taken to ordering them online directly from the Honest Earth folks because my Costco doesn't carry them anymore. For a healthy alternative, skip the regular milk and butter and add one cup of unsweetened almond milk. Tastes great and 2/3 of a cup only has about 13 calories. Potatoes for free (calorically speaking)!

  5. Yes, Costco, please bring them back! They cannot be compared with any other brand of mashed potatoes.

  6. I agree...please bring them back! We loved the flavor and with our allergies they were one of the very few instant potatoes we could eat. I'm so sad to see them gone. The prices online are over double Costco's price!!!

  7. Where are the Honest Earth Potatoes??? Please Bring them back to Southlake Tx Store. Finally, a instant mashed potato without all the chemicals and partially hydrogenated oils!!

  10. PLEASE bring these potatoes back to Virginia - I love that they have nothing artificial (other potatoes have a laundry list of ingredients)

  11. We just looked for them at Costco Durham NC and were told by a supervisor they no longer sell them. Will start buying them online. Didn't like the alternative offered, flavored packs by another brand. Loosing business Costco.

  12. I have been looking for these at my NY costco for months and can't find them. I refuse to get the regular store both it's just not the same. Do something costco.

  13. Also a huge fan of Honest Earth, but I'm just wondering if begging COSTCO, on THIS page, to get them back will get noticed by COSTCO. They are disappointing a lot of their loyal customers. But, we might want to try the "contact us" button on their regular web page too. I'm glad to see I'm not alone in the quest for the good stuff!...Honest Earth instant mashed.

  18. I agree with everyone. Best potatoes ever. Don't laugh, but I like them over homemade potatoes! I bought some others at Costco because I couldn't find Honest Earth and was very mad when they came out tasting like plastic. Costco needs to bring back the Honest Earth. I will have to order online....yes, I feel that strongly about these potatoes.

  19. Does CostCO read these comments? Idohoan told us that CostCO will carry them for the "holidays." No luck yet!!! These are the BEST!

  20. Dear Costco,

Please bring these Honest Earth Mashed Potatoes. They are the best. Been looking for them every week. Please and thank you.

  21. I am in the same situation, no longer being sold at Costcos! However you can find them on line but shipping is just ridiculous! All in all between the price of the box and shipping comes to $25.00 plus !!! Come on, as great as they are that is insane! Oh well, guess I will go back to boiling Yukon gold!!!

  22. Hi! I just bought them yesterday at Costco in San Diego, CA at $9.99 and then a $3 rebate. Maybe it's back for the holidays.

  23. I have been checking at one of the Houston stores every week in the run up to a Thanksgiving for 40, but no luck. The brand being carried is tragically inferior. I would not serve it to anyone, let alone family. You can't boil enough potatoes for this crowd. Costco, please bring this back.

  25. These are great Mashed Potatoes...Got them once at Costco-Houston store...As with many other things, it was a one time deal. Maybe if enough people write in and contact their local store Costco will make them a staple on their shelves

  27. Please Costco, bring back the Honest Earth. I can be convinced if something is better, and am willing to try. But the Idohoan baby reds instant mashed were terrible. Off flavor and a funny smell. Won't be buying them again.

  28. Still looking for them myself at Costco. Agree they are the best

  29. Bring them back! Why did you get rid of them? Come on Costco. Stop getting rid of EVERYTHING I like. Geezz

  30. Bring them back! Bring them back! Bring them back! Bring them back!

  31. Amazon sells them for just over $19, with free shipping, if you buy it with something else for a total over $25. I think the large box lasts too long for Costco to get a good turnover in the stock. It took us 6 months to use ours up.

  32. Please bring them back to Holbrook, Ny They are delicious

  33. I never ate instant mashed potatoes until I tried Honest Earth. I discovered them at Costco more than a year ago and decided to try them because of the natural ingredients. My family loves them because they are so creamy and delicious. I started serving mashed potatoes to family and friends more often because they are so easy to make and, of course, with Honest Earth I didn't have to peel or mash the potatoes anymore. And then came the big disappointment last year when Costco stopped carrying them. I've introduced many of my friends to these delicious mashed potatoes and now they're bugging me because they can't find them at Costco. Please Costco, bring back Honest Earth -- they are the best mashed potatoes ever - honest.

  34. The Paradise Valley potatoes were even better, but apparently, they no longer exist. Honest Earth is the replacement brand, but something is different in either the potato they use or in the processing because the flavor is not the same. I would CRAWL to Costco if they could get Paradise Valley potatoes back again . . . BUT I would drive over to get Honest Earth. They are better than nothing. Please bring them back, Costco.

  35. Used to buy boxes of them fearing not being able to get them anymore. It happened, no more. Paradise Valley was bought out by Idahoan. I would buy online but shipping is terrible. Idahoan said Trader Joe carries them. I will check. Costco, get on the stick and get these spuds.

  36. I also love the Honest Earth potatoes but can't find them. Bad for Costco.
